About Mardi Gras Throw Beads

Mardi Gras Throw Beads have evolved over the years from the short glass beads, to the 33” and longer plastic metallic painted beads, and now incorporate the specialty beads, and big blow mold beads. As a direct importer of Mardi Gras and St. Patrick’s Day Beads, we know quite a bit about beads.

Mardi Gras Beads are made from a plastic mold, and then fused together to form the continuous circle, and hung to paint and dry. Once the beads are dried, they are packaged into their respective quantities – usually a dozen beads bundled together, and then packaged into plastic bags and eventually into case quantities.

All our Mardi Gras throw beads that are sold in case quantities come with a free Party Paradise bead bag with handles for your caring convenience.

Mardi Gras Beads are separated into the diameter and length of the bead. The diameter is measured in millimeters. The smallest size that Party Paradise offers is 7mm, which is about the size of a pea. The length of the bead is measured from end to end when the bead is cut (not connected in the continuous circle). The most common length bead is the 33 inch bead that hangs to bottom of the sternum. Thus making the most common mardi gras throw bead the 7mm 33” bead, but lately many float riders have been going to bigger size beads to engage the parade goers more.
